Go Triathlons
Go triathlons are triathlons over shorter distances, the take place all year round and are specifically set up for people who are new to triathlon. The swim, bike and run are shorter. There are also Go Duathlons which are events over shorter distances of the two disciplines of running and cycling. Go Aquathlons which are events over shorter distances of the two disciplines of running and swimming They are very good as warm up events for longer distances.

Nottingham Triathlon
The sprint distance event consists of a 750m swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run. The event takes place at the start of May.
Venue: National Watersports Centre, Adbolton Lane, Nottingham, NG12 2LU

Varsity Triathlon
The sprint triathlon consists of a 400m swim at the Nottingham University Park Swimming Pool, a hilly 5 lap (15km) cycle on internal campus roads around University Park followed by a 5km run throughout campus, around Highfields Park Lake, and finishing on the Downs. The final wave will be a varsity wave between the top current members of the UoN and NTU Triathlon Clubs. The event takes place at the end of April.

Bucs Standard Triathlon Championships
The Olympic distance event consists of a 1500m swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run. The event takes place at the end of May.

Bucs Duathlon Championships
The duathlon distance event consists of a 2 mile run (one perimeter lap), 10 mile bike (five race circuit laps), and 2 mile run (one perimeter lap). The event takes place at the end of November.
